So there has been no planning. I have decided on linktober this year, but I am also doing an oc one in private with friends, so this year may be of lower quality. (It absolutley is about to be of lower quality, but hopefully it'll at least be funny)

LU headcanons 2

-Legend is really, really good at singing but will NEVER sing in front of someone. Except Marin, he loved singing w her

-Ravio caught Legend singing once but didn't say anything about it

-Time has a complicated relationship w Lullaby, but they see each other as siblings

-Warriors teases Time all the time about how he's technically older

-Everyone thinks Time is ancient. like, dinosaur age. But he's actually in his 30's

-If anyone found out Wars is Time's big brother they would probably think that Wars is older than the concept of time(the thing, not the person)

-they would tease tf out of Wind too probably

-Time doesn't even know that he can turn into a wolf. only twi knows and will not be telling

-if Time ever turned into a wolf everyone would be blind. that mf's pelt is BRIGHT like the sun

-Sky loves all birds. he would even love Kaepora's(idk how to spell it rn)annoying yapping ass

-Wind is scared of Sky's loftwing

-Time hates birds.

-Ravio and Legend eventually get married. They are hopelessly in love

-Nobody knows The Ballad of the Windfish except Legend and Warriors(and Marin, but she's basically dead)

-If the chain ever found out about Legend's bunny form, he'd never know peace

-Twilight looks up to Malon and thinks of her as a mother. the mother he never had 🫢

-Wild sometimes picks flowers for Flora

-Warriors doesn't know Marin isn't real and would probably die if he found out

-Time and Wind also knew Marin because they were in the war, but they probably forgot about her. they'll remember eventually

-Malon looks an awful lot like Marin. Legend's heart hurts tremendously whenever he looks at her.

-Time definitely volunteered to "give Legend away" at his wedding. I got this from a fanfic I read(I don't remember the name sorry 😞)

-Twilight misses Midna terribly and probably cried the first time he saw Wild pull out her helmet

-Wild felt really bad for a while

-Time recognizes Midna from the war and is flabbergasted

My Accent headcannons for the lu chain (and etc):

Time: was taught hylian by trees???? Almost has no tone/infliction in voice (he's working on it)

Malon: Tennessee accent all the way, with that nice hook at the end too (non southerners imagine dolly parton)

Lullaby: very formal proper hylian, dignitary style

Warriors: British military like he's reading from a manual

Sheik: I don't know much about her but the sheikah definitely take inspiration from Japan

Twilight: Appalachian accent as thick as raw honey (non appalachians have yall ever heard of one looking it up)

Midna: try 'n' convince me she don't have a loud ass Louisiana accent (non southerners go watch princess and the frog) (this is totally not for my Midna is African American agenda)

Dusk: real formal like n all that

Sky: That's a Midwesterner (he genuinely tried to get Wild and Rulie to eat jello salad once)

Sun: completely Midwestern

Groose: spends a lot of time around the other two^ but his parents are Gerudo (Arabic/middle eastern)

Four: the minish have always reminded me of the Icelandic tales of little elves

Dot: same formal accent, maybe more like Four's

Age/Cal(calamity): very formal british accent almost royal but also uses some Korean (Zora) words

Mipha: Korean accent (thicker than Sidon's)

Fauna: royal and tight lipped british

Wild: used to be more British (kinghts!), but now is more southern cause twilight has corrupted him

Flora: much more informal than the other zeldas

Legend: Scottish accent, but he usually hides it really well, so you can't really tell at all unless he's mad or tired

Fable: Scottish asf (non Scottish people imagine Merida)

Ravio: fairly normal, but if provoked, he will speak like an Italian mobster wife until he gets his way

Hyrule: Rulie is Irish or Welsh all the way (especially with half fae/fey Hyrule)

Dawn: pretty similar to Hyrule

Aurora: transatlantic accent!!!!!

Spirit: he's always reminded me of Hugo Cabret, so cockney british accent it is (this grates on War's patience)

Phantom: can be formal if she has to but usually just sticks with cockney as well

Wind: Okay look, I love scottish pirate Wind, but I raise you patois or creole pirate Wind

Tetra: Wind's accent but double the amount and also the volume she says it at

Hi! Hope I’m not imposing but I love your linked universe stuff. Especially the yandere side. I’m not sure why but I got a Fierce Deity idea stuck in my brain after reading your stuff. Idea below~

Guide reader is sweet and the perfect friend/person to talk to. Not a door mat and willing to stand their ground. Comforts the various Links through panic attacks, nightmares, break downs when the day has just been too much. Willing to stare Time/Legend/Warrior down when they push the others a little too far. Praises Hyrule/Wild/Wind about their achievements and makes sure they know they are enough (need to raise some confidence in them, especially Wind and Hyrule). Listens to Four/Twilight about the disappearance of the Minish/Midna and comforts them through it. But as all Links know, good doesn’t last in Hyrule.

A major ambush. All of the boys taken down one by one as our guide dashes between them, tossing out potions and fairies until there is nothing left. Everyone is fighting their hardest but the monsters just keep coming . As the boys start to fall in battle our guide finds themselves in the remains of the camp. Everything torn to shreds, broken. All but a lone mask we all know.

We already know that Fierce Deity sees guide as Time’s weak spot, but there’s no other choice! Guide grabs the mask and slams it on, only to find themselves in a totally silent forest. Not a single other being around, aside from the Deity. He scoffs and says that he has a duty but will not work with such a soft thing. And guide, with all their built up anger and worry for the chain lays INTO this man.

This god must be some weakling if it can’t even use them to help their friends. He is such a disgrace and disappointment for being willing to throw time and the others away so easily. Our guide doesn’t care for Fierce’s judgment or petty squabbles with the other gods. He is going to get off his ass, use them as a vessel, and save EVERY. Single. One. Of their friends.

Our humble little guide stepping forward with each word, not a shred of fear in them as they slowly back our lil Deity into a tree. The finally scream that they don’t care if he takes their body for good but he will save everyone they love.

Cut to all of our boys being down, heavily injured and not seeing a way out of this. When the wind suddenly stuffs. The sounds of the forest still. And a heavy presence begins to choke them all, freezing even the monsters in place. Time know this feeling, know it all too well. Frantically looking around he sees the chain accounted for, but that could only mean-

“You’ve grown boy,” Fierce Deity’s voice cuts through the silence as he appears, looming over the group. He was as tall as the trees, practically glowing with power, looking like a god (before he was sealed in that cursed mask). “Your little friend has more power than I thought.” And with that a blood bath begins. Deity tears into every monster in the most brutal way. None of them escape as they try to flee from the over whelming bloodlust. The chain manages to take care of the most important wounds as they regroup. Before they know it all the monsters were slain and Deity stood before them in all his glory, arrogant smirk painting his face.

Time shakily reminds him that he’s done his job, give them back their guide, their friend. Deity just gives a cold chuckle and tells the group how guide was willing to give up their body/their life, to save the group. Fierce will not admit out loud that he enjoyed seeing the group break down a little before he continued. The guide’s words were that they be safe and survive, but with all those wounds and no potions/magic they’d all be dead by the morning. He’s not really a deity of healing but for such a headstrong guide he could lend the chain a little power. Before the chain can question what he means he fills them with just enough magic to heal their deadly wounds (those babies can take care of the rest) and in a blinding light he’s gone. Leaving our poor guide crumpled on the forest floor. But we all know using that mask comes with a price. 😈

for some reason i've had another idea for a request LODGED in my damn brain ever since i wore my platforms the other week: [they are comfy to me, and the heel isn't very high, just the platform adds like- 4inches lol] someone who has tall ass shoes, and nobody notices until they take em off or something and suddenly they're shorter it sounds bad, cause why would someone be wearing platforms, but i swear i can run in em. [took some trial and error though....] also its just really goofy.

No because I'm just as stubborn with platforms the thing that gets you is stairs. I'm not entirely sure if I've mentioned it on here, but I'm a firm believer that Hylians are short. Time is seen as tall because as far as Hylians go? He is Twilight is seen as monsterously tall. Which mixes into your other ask as well - seeing as Time is fairly average height when compared to humans with Twi being tall even to humans (he grew up with humans so he adapted just a lil he's got a much higher milk tolerance sfvgf) but only Twi really knows this seeing as he grew up in ordon with humans and honestly? Means he has a reason to reach out to the reader in the first place, explaining most of the differences he noticed growing up between him and the rest of the villagers It's not the most but really at that point it's helpful to know anything. and it gets him closer to you which is what he really cares about honestly I write the chain as yandere's most of the time really, but this scenario where he's reader's best hope and they naturally get closer to him? I could see it happening really it's because he can't have a repeat of midna someone from another world stealing his heart and leaving him forever ha nope

As for platforms? that'll be fun to explain to them >:) this turned out a little bit more Twi centric than I meant for it to be but it was so fun to write and flowed so naturally !! <33 [masterlist]

“[Name]? We’re about to have breakfast, you’ll probably want to come get some before we leave the inn. Time’s saying that we’re going to be walking a lot today”

“Hm? Yeah I’m coming wild.”

His eyes looked as if they were about to fall out of his head when I opened the door. Is there something off about my appearance? I’ve just woken up I guess so maybe I just look a bit dishevelled, but after travelling with them this long? Would that really be enough to set them off like this?

“You’re shorter! Are you alright? Twi said humans are way different compared to Hylians but I didn’t assume he meant you shrink sometimes! Come on we need to go show them to know if you’re gonna be okay.”

“Wait no wild I-”

There isn’t even time for me to argue my own point with how fast they’re pulling me over to the others, his strength is impressive even for hylians I’ve been told and that isn’t something I’ll argue with. But what is he on about me ‘shrinking’? I haven’t changed height at all… He’s never seen me without my platforms. That’d do it.

“TWILIGHT! [NAME] SHRANK. IS THAT SOMETHING HUMANS CAN DO? ARE THEY GOING TO BE ALRIGHT?”

“Wild really I’m going to be fine. If you’ll just let me explai-”

“YOU CAN SHRINK? Why didn’t you tell us [name]?”

Now winds come over - great. I’ll have to count on Twi’s glare being enough to give me time to speak. 

“Wild what are you on about humans can’t - oh. You did shrink. How did that happen?”

Bingo. Now I can hopefully clear this mess up somewhat.

“I didn’t shrink. I’m just not wearing my platforms. They add to my height when I wear them, I didn’t realise this was the first time Wild’s seen me without them. Their worry was pretty cute though.”

“So you didn’t shrink..? Can I try them on?”

“Nah wind, not only are they my only pair of shoes but I think you’d break your neck if you tried to walk in them.”

He really does look kind of like a cat when he pouts, you’d assume he’s just had a lemon slice shoved in his mouth rather than being told no for his own safety. It’s nice to see that despite having to become a hero at such a young age he still acts his age.

“Then how do you wear them? You’ve been walking them for so long without issue?”

“They’re your only shoes?”

“Yeah they are Twi, there’s no issue either wild. They’re comfortable to wear and I’m used to them anyway”

Twi looks as if he’s gearing up for a lecture if the look on his face is anything to go by, the very same one that’s a warning for wild when he’s done something questionable. A short sigh, a shake of his head and it quickly softens up into some sort of lovestruck expression.

“Darlin’ It isn’t that that I’m worried ‘bout. It’s not a good idea to only be travelling with a single pair, what if they get damaged or lost? I’ve got a spare set that should fit you, you can have them.”

“You don’t have to go that for me twi, I’m sure theres somewhere here I could just buy a pair.”

“It really ain’t an issue. It’ll save you breaking in a new pair so it’s for the best really.”

There’s more to what he’s saying I can feel it, but I can’t bring it up around the others like this so answers will have to wait. 

“You don’t wanna eat while you’re, only wearing a pair of socks you? Let’s go and get them for you quickly.”

His hand is so much softer than Wild’s and his touch is more tender and is that? Oh, he’s blushing, there really is something more to this isn’t there; does he like me or something? The walk to his room in the inn isn’t long, shorter than the one to my own. 

“Give me a second darlin’ and I’ll get you them.”

 “Of course, I’m not gonna get mad at you for taking too long to get me a gift. Seriously though, thanks for this link.”

If I thought he was red before he’s downright glowing now, his face from the tips of his ears to the lowest part of his neck that I can see have gone crimson red. Matching how his rummaging through his bag has gotten ever so more frantic, his patience for finding the said boots for me gone like ashes in the wind. Then before I know it a pair of leather boots are being thrust into my arms by someone who can only really be described as a blushy mess at the moment. It’s cute. He’s cute.

“They’re wonderful thank you again Twi, really.”

“You can ah - You can call me link when we’re alone together like this darlin’.”

“If you want me to then link. I’ll just put these on then we can go join the others, hopefully, they’ve saved us some food.”

These are so soft, are they lined with something? They have to be right? It feels like some kind of fur, they should be nice to walk in so I can save my platforms some wear. It makes a lot of sense to try to keep my belongings from home safe, just to have some memories to look back on. 

“Hey link, mind me asking what they’re lined with?”

“Wolf fur darlin’”

“Is it your fur?”

How is it possible he’s gotten even more red? Answers my question though. Why would he give me something lined with his own fur?

so did you ever explain how legend met ravio in opera house? you've said he was one of legend's strays but i wasn't sure if you actually mntioned how they met (also ravio should totally work at a souvenir stand when not backstage. whenever i go to musicals they always have merch stands)

Well, I'm still working it out, but I know Ravio is in Hyrule illegally, and he's definitely trying to keep a (somewhat) low profile as a result.

I know though that most of Legend's strays are not people he sought out, but rather people who thought he was the stray just to find out he actually was about to drag their ass out whatever in thanks for them helping him. Ravio probably met Legend in Crown City by chance.

I like trying to emulate the events for their ages when and where I can (I.e. Twilight met Midna while in jail, Sky and Sun went to school together, stuff like that) so Legend probably got involved in something and Ravio helped him out, so now Legend's trying to return the favor somehow and that involved getting Rav a job, and the two of them sort of becoming friends.

Legend would have been freshly back from Koholint and being stranded in the middle of the ocean, so he was in rough shape at the time, which may have been part of why Ravio ended up helping him.

I'm thinking maybe it's just a thing in the story that the crew jokes that Legend's fae, because if you help him out for any reason, your life starts looking up. Mostly because he actively tries to help you in return, but Ravio, Hyrule, and probably a couple other people they know all had the same thing happen, so it could be funny if that's sort of a gag to the gang where most of his strays/friends his age are just random people who helped him once and he helped get a new job/home as thanks.

If people have ideas though about Ravio (or the rest) I'm open to hearing them!

Some Linked universe headcanon I have.

Wind and twilight sometimes bond over on how similar their adventure is, and the fact that both of them are time's successor. And both of them usually use the darkest part of their story at night to scare of each other, which doesn't work at all.

when all the the Link's is sleeping except WILD, he would just caused absolute chaos when all of them are sleeping. Pranks, fake sleepwalking, making annoying noise.

The Link's sometimes would compare their weapon and item, and it caused a big debate, they all argue and argue, except Time and legend since both of them know that they would instaly win, and when the other ask about they're's stuff, they would just lied about how much powerful it is.

Everytime Wind hear the others refer to Tetra as "his's zelda" he would start a 20 minute long rant about how just because Tetra has the blood of the goddess doesn't mean she is Zelda. And twilight sometimes would provoke wind, just so everyone can get of his ass about midna and. And Wind know that he's being provoked by twilight, but he just can't stop doing it.

Ya know something Twilight is kinda lucky that Midna isn't with him anymore cuz she would 110% throw his ass under the bus with all the reckless, idiotic stunts he's pulled. Like she'd ruin his mature, responsible image. Like imagine-

Wind or Sky going to jump off something and Twilight goes to stop them, telling them to be careful and then Midna at that moment:

"You're one to talk. You literally jumped off of the Hylia bridge with zero hesitation."

And Sky and Wind just look at Twilight in this baffled awe. And Wind's instantly like:

"Oh so me and Sky can't jump off of things but YOU on the other hand-"

And he just gives Twilight absolute grief cuz he's literally 13/14 years old and it's not often that he gets to be relentless towards the country boy. Meanwhile Sky's trying to figure out how to invite Twilight to go jumping with him cuz now he has to know if Twilight can correctly jump off of things safely or if he just wings it.

Or perhaps Hyrule and Wild end up getting into trouble, and it involves fire and monsters and Twilight's reprimanding them for being so careless while Legend is watching all of this go down then Midna pops up and goes:

"Ya know, if I recall correctly I believe that you too at one point set something on fire. Hmmm perhaps a house, trying to get a shadow insect?"

And there's this dead silence before Twilight let's out this sputtering:

"YOU KNOW THAT WAS AN ACCIDENT I DIDN'T MEAN TO-"

While Legend completely loses his shit cackling cuz holy hell he did not expect the sweet country rancher to set a house on fire. Meanwhile Wild's instantly on his mentor's case demanding to know the details while Hyrule is hella curious in figuring out how Twilight even managed to accidentally set someone's house on fire.

Or maybe it's a late night and Time and Warriors are just chilling and talking about all the somewhat unsettling things they've encountered and Twilight's just really uneasy hearing how nonchalantly his mentor/ancestor and brother are talking about this stuff and Midna comes up next to him and chimes in:

"Aw don't look like that, you've faced some pretty nasty stuff too like the Shadow Beasts so this shouldn't be so surprising."

And the other two overhearing this just kinda stare at the duo before Warriors breaks the silence with:

"What in Din's hell is a Shadow Beast?"

Que Midna explaining what they are and how Twilight fought them by basically mauling them too death as a wolf while Warriors and Time just give him this look of 'We're talking about this at a later date.' While Twilight desperately wishes for the ground to swallow him whole.

Or maybe Four is talking about something risky he'd done during his adventure and Twilight's like saying that it's dangerous and that Four should be a bit more careful in the future and Midna's like:

"You literally shot yourself out of a canon willingly. I don't think you've got no room to really tell anyone to be careful."

And Four just stares at him in this silent way, eyebrow quirked in a 'Oh really now?' Kind of way while Twilight glares daggers at Midna who's way too amused.

Like I can just see Midna pulling up the most embarrassing and unhinged stuff that she and Twilight had experienced on their adventure just to fuck with him while Twilight slowly dies on the inside lmao.

some Bonus Zelda thoughts! some of this i've maybe said before idk:

ALTTP Zelda

her armor is more ceremonial than practical. While I didn't give this to every Queen Zelda, I liked the idea of the princess's pauldrons progressing to more plate armor in the queen's dress. That's also why I changed her color scheme to blue to differentiate from the princess' pink (exceptions for this being HW Zelda who wears red as queen, ST Zelda who still wears pink as queen and BOTW Zelda who wore blue as princess)

anyway. she's more of a scholar than a warrior but she still has killer aim with a bow

her pet project has been recovering, restoring, and filling in the gaps of the royal library and archive. Mage helps her out with this as he has a knack for stumbling upon forgotten ancient texts in his travels

A lot of ppl assume she's rather prim or austere but she's actually got a lot of whimsy and humor in her. It's why she and Mage get along so well :D

She lets Mage get away with a lot of shenanigans and keeps the royal guard from arresting his ass all the time

if mage is ur weird uncle she's like. ur cool aunt

she's still sailing the seas with her crew!

she and Wake have had a bit of a falling out though, partially over disagreements about searching for New Hyrule, and have gone their separate ways for now. There's not any real animosity between them, just like,,,frustration. They'd still do anything for each other.

She's got 2 pistols and a cutlass and she knows how to use them

She could bench press Wake. easily.

She's brash and commands a lot of respect but she's also a lot of fun to be around. She's brutally honest and says what's on her mind.

I think she still feels a lot of confusion and frustration about the revelations about her lineage and the role King Daphnes seemed to force on her because of it. She doesn't want much to do with what the divine. She values the freedom sailing on the sea gives her.

TP Zelda

she's. so tired. a lot of the responsibility of rebuilding the kingdom has fallen squarely on her shoulders. She's holding shit together by a thread but by god is she holding it together.

Looks pretty cold and unapproachable but she has a kind heart. She cares deeply for the people of her kingdom. She would sacrifice a lot for them and already has.

Never relaxes. Works like 24/7. get this girl a hobby

Midzel canon. Midna also had a thing with Link but it wasn't a polycule more of a this is my girlfriend Midna and this is Midna's boyfriend Link kind of a situation. Anyway she misses Midna.

Wolf and Zelda are like. coworkers. They haven't really gotten any closer in the aftermath of everything. Wolf wants nothing to do with playing the role of the hero in a political sense like Zelda keeps asking him to. I don't think Zelda necessarily blames him for escaping that responsibility, but she Is frustrated she doesn't have that luxury.

MC Zelda

a little cutie!! very bubbly and extroverted and curious about the world. She spends a lot of time outside of the castle running around with Mini. The King is so glad she's safe after everything he still just lets her do whatever she wants lol

She used to be the one dragging Mini into shenanigans all the time but he's gained a lot of confidence over his quest and is less timid now. now they are equally engaging in shenanigans

Hangs out with Malon too!! The three of them are besties

I like to think she can also still see the minish even if she can't shrink down to their size. she thinks they're so cute. Maybe mini gives her a jabbernut so she can speak to them too :-)

She helps Mini build his fucked up little trash robots. She also pretties them up with paint

scolded by castle staff frequently for getting grass stains and dirt on her nice clothes lol. She probably isn't usually running around in her full princess garb though.

Like Mini, has mostly refused to process most of what happened to her and is just trying to enjoy life.

Prince Zel

I went back and forth about whether or not I wanted to go with naming him Sheik or not. I decided against it since this is the version of him that never had to become Sheik. He keeps Zelda as a legacy name and shortens it to Zel most of the time.

Pretty lonely in the castle without many friends his age. He desperately wants to be better friends with Mask but is mostly rebuffed.

Even though he doesn't have to become Sheik in this timeline, I think he has begun training with Impa. Just under a lot less duress

Still occasionally has prophetic visions but has become somewhat hesitant about sharing them. I think he understands a little more of what went on in other timelines than he lets on, but he doesn't know or put together all of it.

Often described as odd or intense or standoffish by ppl who meet him but he can be really chatty and lively under the right circumstances

HW Zelda

Her armor is also mostly ceremonial, even though she's definitely more of a warrior queen. She and War are both dressed to project 'peace time' and 'prosperity'. She has other sets of armor that are more suited for combat.

She and War are a lot alike, calculating and cunning, which is why they understand each other. It's also why they're often at each other's throats. They're not really above backstabbing each other, though has Queen she has a lot more leverage.

She's not exactly warm or particularly kind, but she does care about the safety of the Kingdom.

Also never relaxes and works like 24/7

Constantly dealing with a tense, power-hungry and antagonistic court looking to undermine her authority. She has her own private ambitions she's working towards.

ALBW Zelda

She's a really charming and fun person! very down to earth as Queen and a lot more willing to eschew tradition.

She comes across as carefree but she's been ruling Hyrule by herself since she was young and has been subject to a lot of pressure. She had to grow up pretty fast and is wiser than she seems at first glance. She has her court and the people's respect.

She and Mirror share an interest in fashion and the arts. They're,,, they're both theatre kids.

I don't have a lot of other headcanons abt her yet sorry but. i love her

ST Zelda

Has been crowned Queen at the ripe old age of 16 because the last time they appointed a chancellor he turned out to be a demon who stole her body. so

She does not feel ready to be Queen at all but she's doing her best. She's determined not to let anybody push her around again.

She's taken an interest in learning how to fight after the events of spirit tracks. She never wants to feel as helpless as she did then, trapped as a ghost outside her body. Also she really enjoyed hitting things with a giant sword in her big phantom armor. She's become a much better swordsman than Spirit ever was lol

She specifically requested her own suit of armor to mimic the phantom armor

she's pretty protective of Spirit

BOTW Zelda

I think she was conscious for all 103 of those years fighting ganon, even if it seems somewhat blurry and surreal to her now. She remembers it in fits and bursts. She often feels disconnected from her body.

She has no interest in reviving the monarchy or ruling over Hyrule again. However she does have an interest in rebuilding Hylian towns and helping all of Hyrule recover. She still feels like it's her responsibility, not because of her role as princess, but because of what she perceives as her own failure to avert tragedy.

she doesn't just blame herself though- she blames the gods and her father too.

Right now though she's mostly taking a break to get her bearings and recover from 103 years of endless fighting. She and Slate travelled around Hyrule for a while at first, and now she's settled in Hateno trying to figure out how to be normal again. Some rebuilding efforts have already started spearheaded by Hudson and she helps out with those.

SKSW Zelda

honestly not even she is sure what parts of her are herself and what parts are hylia. it's as disconcerting for her as it is for Loft. She's both frustrated that he looks at her differently now and understands completely why he does. She still wishes he wouldn't.

she remembers more about being the goddess than she necessarily lets on

she's really invested in the settlement on the surface and is basically its unofficial leader. she puts a lot of time and effort into making sure everything is going according to plan and that they have everything they need to keep living on the surface

she's protective of Loft and worries a lot for him. She blames herself for a lot of what he struggles with now and wants to make it better.

she's not the fun police though, she likes a death-defying loftwing stunt as much as the next person

she did become a knight after the events of skyward sword! They don't really wear the uniforms down on the surface much anymore though and it's become less of a formal order while everyone focuses on building and improving the village.

She's been working on her swordsmanship

Time: I can see him as someone who’d either have a decent number of tattoos or none at all, there’s no in between, but I can can really see him piecing together a sleeve full of memories from journeys only he knows. Its a visible reminder for him that it actually happened and he’s not just going crazy. He strikes me as the kind of person who’d only have tattoos on either one arm or just one side of his body

Wars: If he DOES have a lot, the majority of them are in places you cannot see because they’re for him and they’re personal. He doesn’t really care if people CAN see them, but he’s not going out of his way to make them visible. They go where HE wants, he gets to be in control of that. I think he would probably have some sort of tattoo on the inside of his wrist maybe, as a reminder of all the friends he’s lost in the war tho I’m not entirely sure what that might be, but it’s meaningful to him

Twi: You cannot tell me he doesn’t have tattoos. I CANNOT be convinced he doesn’t have tattoos, that’s his therapy. In a modern au I could see him as a tattoo artist. I think he’d view himself as a canvas for beautiful art with deep meaning to himself, he definitely has tattoos to remind him of Ordon, Rusl and Uli, Midna, Colin, Ilia, everyone he loves. But also? He’s got a dorky ass lookin goat on his leg somewhere and it looks ridiculous but it was his first one and he loves it. He did that one himself for sure

Sky: Definitely has a feather or just a straight up loft wing on his forearm. The color looks crazy good too, it’s incredibly detailed, it’s the only one he has

Wild: FOR SURE has tattoos. None of them are super connected, not all of them are super meaningful, he definitely is the kind of person who’d let his friends pick out a tattoo for him to get he definitely has a silent princess tattoo

Legend: Doesn’t have any. He’s scared of needles. But he will not admit that and he simply says he’s not interested in tattoos but that is the world’s biggest lie. Those 2 week temporary tattoos would be life changing for him

Hyrule: He’d be down, but I don’t think he has any yet. Wild could convince him to go get a matching one with him for the price of a single cornchip

Four: He’d probably either have something for the colors or nothing at all. But like, it’s definitely some little inside joke between him and the colors that NO ONE else gets

Wind: Once this kid gets over his fear of getting his ears pierced it’s the end for him, he’d have a bunch of tattoos and piercings. I think he’d put together a sleeve that just looks absolutely cool as fuck and subtly integrates parts of his journeys. It’s pattern heavy and symbolic and he loves it

I have so many Midna feelings. The opening lines of the game describing twilight as lonely. All of her early lines to wolf!Link laughing about how much it must hurt that he's become a ghost moving through the world of humans. Midna so clearly wants to build relationships and connections with the world of light but can't. Zant taunts her with this, claiming that merging their worlds is his goal, and yet still Midna fights so hard against him to protect this world her people were cast out of. ⭐⭐⭐ do you have any director's commentary for The Brave?

Other than the endless screaming about how the climax just isn't writing itself at all?

I could do a commentary for that entire damn fic, but at 66k and with so little brain today, I think I'll focus on one of my favorite characters in the entire story: Dark.

Dark is simultaneously my perfect narrative foil, my ugly little scrumblo, my dumbass a can, and the smartest character in the entire story. He's the only one who sees the whole plot from start to finish for what it is, and yet Time has his head so far up his own ass that Dark couldn't clue him in even if he wanted to. But really, can you blame Time? Their reintroduction in this story didn't go so hot.

“Well well well! If it isn’t the legend himself." [...] Dark moved to set his boot on the tabletop next to Time. The cuff of his jeans rode up to display the chunky plastic bracelet around his ankle. “Say, how’s that cute little redhead of yours? What was her name, Molly?” Time stared at the tabletop directly in front of him. The air pressure in the room seemed to drop. Dark leaned in close so that the others wouldn’t hear. “Does she still do that incredible thing with her—”

I mean, aside from running his mouth like a moron, Dark has zero concept of personal space.

Many things changed throughout writing that story, from focusing on Twilight's relationship with Midna to realizing that Champion's emergence would be a more interesting major arc to follow. But Dark's importance to the narrative remained, especially as an antagonist-turned-ally. He's surprisingly trustworthy, as proven when he and the Deity eventually have their throwdown and Dark doesn't hurt him once he has Time restrained, although he has plenty of valid reasons to want to.

“Do you think I always looked like this,” [Dark] went on, “that I was born looking like this??” Time tilted his face away slightly as Dark leaned in further, lifting his chin. From this angle, he could appreciate the pale lines beneath Dark’s nostrils and at the point of his chin.  Scars. “I hate having your fucking nose,” Dark spat, finally backing off.

The most fun I have with Dark, though, is how much his characterization opposes Time's. Where Time has to answer to others and keep up appearances for the sake of his work, Dark lives by his own rules. Where Time stretches himself thin looking after others, Dark has a self-centered philosophy on life. As soon as he can get the hell out of this whole circus, Dark is gone, and he has the personal freedom to do so.

Moreover: deep down, Time hates having to live up to the expectations of others but he does it because he thinks it's the right thing to do. And he hates how happy Dark is living by his own rules, unorthodox though they might be, because even when he was under constant surveillance, Dark was arguably freer than Time is throughout this story.

So the LU gundam AU continues and

Wind and Twilight the only non clone children of the Chain! Bow I've shared some details from the LU Whumpever server, so I shall make a separate post for those details, BTW I just realized I forgot to mention Four on the server.

But, back to Wind and Twilight. Wind is a regular person (for now) but he's a space pirate. At first I was going for something like Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam, but my ass is so unfamiliar with it, so I'm leaning more into the Gundam Astray story. So for Time's finally fight with the government, before he goes into the Fierce Deity equivalent of a Gundam (maybe I'll draw it later) to fight Skull kid/Majora (spoilers: Skull kid dies). With Legend's creation, which only happen because they found the arm of Time's original Gundam. So for Wind, he found the rest of the mobile suit. And because of certain details, aka the Time travel ability of the Ocarina of Time, the time ability goes to Wind to be the Phantom Sword (Lol I might call Wind's Gundam the Phantom Gundam). But for Wind's windwaker, that's where Wild comes in. Now it was very easy for me to say Wild and his team/Champions were abandoned to die but bot the state of the mobile suits. Now the Champions are dead, because it was a suicide mission. And for Wind's replacement arm for the Phantom Gundam, is Revali's mobile suites arm because fuck yeah Gundam Astray Gold frame with the Blitz arm. And with Wind basically not repainting the suit for some time that's how the Governemnt knew Time was alive and just deserted the army, so Time is considered a traitor to the government.

Which leads me to Twilight. Twilight is Time and Malon's son. (uh I forgot the two people that are Twilight's adopted parents in some people's fics so they're babysitters/godparents for Twilight because I feel bad for leaving them out) The Fierce Deity mobile suit was repurposed for Twilight's mobile suit, much to Time's argument against mobile suits because killing Skull kid and reading his older brother figure file of him dying in mobile suits still haunts him. (Hehehe Warriors isn't actually dead but hehhehhehe that makes the reunion more angsty along with the HADES system, ill probably rename it to SPIRIT or FOCUS if i figure out a way to make the system based off the HADES with those letters.) Twilight is a rebellious kid. Gotta keep the Gundam tradition alive by having children in Mobile suits fighting in a war they have no idea about. Also I'm going to have more than just Witch from Mercury reference be stuck to Time, I'm going to let baby Twilight sneak out and bond with the Gundam. And have Twilight get his markings from the suit too. But I'm going to let the suit transform into a wolf so I can have wolfie without any potential animal deaths in the future in case I want more angst. So because Time is a deserter, Twilight had to move around a lot and staying in Ordon for the longest time was his norm until, he meets Midna. A mobile suit designer, (well I can make her like the daughter of a mobile suit company which I guess can consider her a princess in some way) Midna helps with the Wolf Gundam (because it's no longer the Fierce Deity) and when she has to leave, their location is pretty much compromised. Which eventually leads to Twilight and Time going to space and meeting the rest of the chain, aka Twilight's uncles and Wind.

He also makes the cliche tiktok youtuber videos and makes Aiden do challenges and mukbangs w him and he can handle his spice but Aiden can NOT... I also like to think he takes longer to get ready in the morning just because he admires himself in the mirror for a bit. But it's no biggie bc Aiden spends 5 mins a day admiring James in return

Riya: honestly I Hate how people use the DC pride pic to say everyone else missing is straight like what if they were in traffic and missed ?? Like personally I just like to think Riya has never explored her sexuality at all and is not really aware of her interest in women (maybe someone here likes Riya x Grett just a little) so she doesn't say or claim anything really
